Vice President of Economic Research & DAO Strategy
Experience Highlights
Chiara Longo is a blockchain economist with a PhD in Econometrics and more than a decade of experience in decentralized finance, DAO architecture, tokenomics, and economic modeling. As Chief Economist and Blockchain Project Lead at Shiba Inu, she led the development of a decentralized voting system and DAO governance framework that significantly enhanced community engagement and aligned stakeholder incentives. She also directed the deployment of DeFi products that expanded ecosystem utility and improved liquidity and adoption metrics across the protocol. Chiara is co-founder of Newmisma, an NFT platform built for the comic industry, where she led both product vision and go-to-market strategy to establish a differentiated digital asset brand.
Her advisory work at BridgeInsight LLC includes designing tokenomic models, strategic product planning, and roadmap structuring for blockchain ventures worldwide. Earlier in her career, she served as Chief Economist at Pareto, where she introduced inflation-adjusted incentives for a blockchain lottery platform, and as Vice President and Quantitative Risk Modeler at BNP Paribas, where she built econometric models for stress testing, portfolio optimization, and regulatory compliance. Chiara’s deep understanding of incentive systems, coupled with hands-on leadership in economic modeling, makes her an integral contributor to Autheo’s modular coordination layer and sovereign infrastructure frameworks.
