How do I sell or trade the THEO I earn from validator rewards?
This guide reflects the Validator Portal and Autheo Bridge flows as of August 2026, based on Autheo's own support documentation.
Claimed staking and validator reward THEO lives on Autheo Mainnet. To sell or trade it, first bridge it to Base network using the Autheo Bridge, then use a Base-network DEX such as Hydrex. Bridging and trading are separate steps from claiming or unstaking your rewards in the Validator Portal.
Understand the broader Autheo platform
This answer covers one part of the Autheo ecosystem. To understand how this capability fits into the full platform, start with the core Autheo overview and architecture pages.
Claim first, then bridge
Rewards must be claimed (and, if delegated, unstaked from the unbonding period) in the Validator Portal before they can be bridged. Once THEO is in your wallet on Autheo Mainnet, use the Autheo Bridge at hyper.autheo.com to send it to Base network.
Selling on a DEX
Once your THEO has arrived on Base, it can be sold or traded on a Base-network DEX such as Hydrex. Full step-by-step guides with screenshots are available in the docs.
