Edge Fabric
The distributed delivery layer of Autheo's infrastructure stack, covering CDN, points of presence (PoPs), GeoDNS, BGP anycast routing, and web application firewall (WAF) capabilities.
The edge fabric sits between the mesh network and the compute fabric in Autheo's layered architecture. It is responsible for getting requests to the nearest appropriate point of presence and protecting traffic in transit, using CDN caching, GeoDNS resolution, BGP anycast routing, and WAF protections. In the request lifecycle, a user's request typically passes through DNS/GeoDNS resolution, an anycast point of presence, and CDN/edge routing before reaching authentication and compute.
