Infrastructure providers are one of five ecosystem participant types in Autheo's platform model, alongside developers, enterprises, validators, and users. Unlike validators, who specifically secure the Layer 1 trust layer through staking, infrastructure providers contribute compute, storage, and edge resources to Autheo's distributed mesh and compute fabric, which the control plane then matches to application demand through the marketplace. The provider lifecycle for joining as an infrastructure provider involves installing the runtime, generating an identity, registering the node, joining the mesh, advertising resources, and earning THEO through marketplace settlement. This compute and storage marketplace is rolling out on mainnet over the coming months.
